    Coast-to-coast we have seen the P3 model deliver award-winning consolidated rent-a-car (ConRAC) facilities and parking structures for some of the largest and busiest airports in the U.S. Many airport authorities have embraced the model to revitalize entire airport precincts, realize their master redevelopment strategies and elevate the travel experience for their customers. There is demand for improved parking infrastructure at many airports across the U.S., and several authorities have announced parking projects as part of their pipelines. This session will explore:

    VIPA Airport P3 Procurement and Selection of Preferred Proposer

    The session will discuss the procurement and selection process related the Virgin Islands Port Authority Airport P3 Process.  How the Authority and the short-listed proposers thinking evolved on topics related to design, constructability, resiliency, sustainability,employee transition, operations, maintenance, during the procurement period.  Also the strategy behind the RFP business and financial plans and the financial form of offer.  We also negotiated the tranistion and the P3 agreement during the procurement period.  The session will provide first account insights into the process.

    The Authority's development of its outreach plan and stakeholder engagement with employees, its Board of Governors and the public.  The panel will give the perspective from the Government sponsor and private sector perspective as well as the advisory and legal sides.

    Bidding teams werecomprised of airport terminal developers, investments funds, airport operators, designers, legal, business development and HR specialists.
